The Flamingo 2006 is the latest incarnation of the highly successful Flamingo. Whether as pure glider or an electric glider, the Flamingo 2006 is an excellent all-rounder, intended for everyday flying pleasure.Assembly is both simple and very satisfying and once the radio control system is installed you will soon be ready for the first flight. The model is well suited for winch launch, aero-tow and slope soaring and will prove a formidable weapon in your armoury when it comes to competitions. The ailerons may be deployed as flaperons as an aid for landing.
The new higher-quality Flamingo 2006 is a leader in its class. The model is available both in ARC form and also pre-covered in two-colours. The new wing panels feature integrated ailerons and camber changing flaps with reduced hinge gap. The Carbon strengthened wing panels incorporate the unique “Tangent Carbon Thermal Technology” ensuring superior flying qualities both in thermal turns and in all manner of aerobatic manoeuvres. The model can be built either as a pure glider or as an electric glider, with all the necessary parts for both options provided in the kit. The field proven all flying tail plane provides the precision demanded of the most demanding model pilots. As an eclectic glider the Flamingo 2006 is in its element when used with a high performance brushless motor and 10-12 cells or equivalent Lipo power.
